As a freelance writer since 2008, I have been fortunate to serve clients in a variety of industries. With extensive experience as a copywriter and ghostwriter, I have developed press releases, blogs, video scripts, business profiles, newsletters, sponsored content and long-form advertorials.

The real estate business and its implications for the national economy are a source of endless fascination for me. Over the years, I have written tomes of content related to purchases and sales, home design, real estate finance and architecture. I've also created property descriptions for residential and commercial real estate across the US, as well as in Europe and Mexico.

From helping business owners with marketing collateral, I have learned about everything from heating and air conditioning, employment law and finance, to the medical field, health spas and mortgages. From working as a writer developing magazine articles for several publications, I have explored topics of personal interest, some of which are presented on the home page.
​My work is informed by the guidance of many supportive individuals, along with my early experience as a copywriter for Prudential California Realty, which is now Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties. ​While an employee there, I earned a California real estate license to further my industry knowledge; I maintain an interest and I am currently a referral agent in North Carolina.
The training I received while earning a bachelor’s degree in English from North Carolina State University has also been essential. Similarly, the many long hours of research and essay writing that facilitated my completion of a master’s degree in Human Resources/Organization Development from National University have been positively impactful to my career.
Spending time with my family, surfing, reading, playing golf, traveling and mountain biking are some of my favorite pastimes outside of work. In the past I have supported a number of charities, including Veteran's Memorial Reef, the Surfrider Foundation; Love is Bald, the Sunshine Kids Foundation, The Charitable Foundation, Challenged Athletes Foundation, and Children’s Smiles.
